Lacy Ladies is blackwork lace in feline form. These delicate beauties are stitched with overdyed and solid colored floss on the students choice of white ground. The overdyed threads will be manipulated for effect and shading. Pattern shading will be explored as will variations on a theme in designing. Finish these little ladies as a tote bag or pillow or hang them on a wall. All they need is love.

Materials Needed
Lacy Ladies may be stitched on: 24 count white soft Congress cloth, 24 count regular Congress cloth; 24-36 count linen, 14-18 count aida or 22 count hardanger
The students will select overdyed and solid colors of stranded cotton or silk with which to stitch the design.
