CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
Circle of Friends is a study in blackwork shading. This design deals with some of the aspects of the technique as well as the correct stitching of blackwork.

Four of the five patterns are reversible blackwork without being double running.

Patterns will be broken down to their simplest forms and taken forward as the different types and techniques for shading patterns are explored.

Although executed with black floss on white ground, the student may elect to stitch this piece in colors of her choice. The student does not need to be familiar with stitching blackwork to enjoy stitching this piece; it is designed for all level of stitcher.

This cyber class will run 8 weeks beginning December 1, 2007.
You must have a working email address in order to receive the posted lessons.

When the lesson arrives on your email, print it out and save it with your book of instructions. Work at your own pace. If you have any questions, or run into any difficulties, please email me at once and we will work through them.

The cost of this cyber class is $65. No kit is included. Materials are readily available at any good needlework shop.
