BEAR
Native Americans used fetishes to petition the spirits for favors. This design of strength and courage uses pearl cotton and metallic braid on 24 count white Congress cloth to create a similar design. The completed design is adorned with beads and charms.

Bear Fetish could be stitched on 18 mono canvas but certain changes need to be made. First, the template needs to be enlarged to compensate for the coarser ground. Second, thicker threads need to be substituted for good coverage.

This cyber class will run 4 weeks.
Class begins October 15, 2007.
You must have a working email address in order to receive the posted lessons.
