Strawberries & Cream

Soft shades of silk floss enhance teal linen to form a sampler of blackwork bands from antique samplers, adapting them to a strawberry theme. The blackwork is embellished with a variety of stitches used on samplers of old.  Between the blackwork bands are areas of hemstitching and drawn thread.  Skill level is intermediate/advanced and above.  

This is a four day class.
