Proverb

Celtic knots and whimsy combine with modified bands from antique sources to form this Proverb Sampler.  Many of the blackwork motifs have been adapted for other types of embroidery. Reversible blackwork and embellishing will be explored. No previous blackwork experience is necessary for this all skill level design, but the stitcher should know her way around a stitching needle.  Some creative license will be given to the more advanced stitchers. Pulled lace bands in white finish off the white linen stitched with silk floss and pearl cotton.

Skill Level:  All Levels with some blackwork experience.
Four-day class.
